I don't think this is such a hassle. Aside from trying to decode the randomly generated letters, the Haight-Ashbury font style has me humming a Grateful Dead tune as I type in the word verification.

Why do they bother? Do they honestly think anyone is going to buy anything from them if they pollute a weblog? Spamming is a perfect example of how rotten human kind are, how they will breath cancer into anything they can.
I hopped onto the Haight-Ashbury acid test bandwagon, too, after seeing one particularly spam-ridden blog. The comments started off nicely enough, but then the usual "ads" got rolling, until the original post resembled one of those old NYC subway cars from the 70s - entirely blanketed by black graffiti, resembling nothing more than someone's roll of expended hockey-stick tape.
FCB, this is beyond my limited capabilities, so I'll ask you. With your programming skills, are you aware of any way to send a poison pill to these "folks" that would kill them dead when they recieved it (in whatever electronic form one sends these pills in)?
Sorry Darko - I only use my powers for Good, which means - in true goody-twoshoes liberal style - that the only people I'm able to screw over are my customers, killing them with kindness and features they don't want, can't switch off, and don't understand.
However, reading your own post of this morning, lets just say that were you to read a list of my former customers it might bring a terrific cheesy grin to your face.
My blog is so insignificant that even perverts and in-bred Nazis from Idaho consider it a waste of time to post their vile comments, so perhaps you should see this as an indicator of success?
